Welcome to The Lord’s Children website. Our ministry yearns to teach our members and visitors how to establish, develop and sustain a deep and abiding personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

We are here to seek out the seekers, that is, those souls yearning to know God and the answers to many of life’s secrets, mysteries and truths ... Why do we exist? ... What is life all about? ... Is there life after death? ... Does God really exist? ... and if God really exists, why does He allow suffering? ... Doesn’t He care about humanity? ... about me? ... What does God want from me? ... How can we know?

Many people today are convinced that there is no such thing as absolute truth, and even if there is, there is no reliable way we can come to know truth for ourselves. The talking heads in the media and academia profess that all truth is relative. We also have a myriad of spiritualists, theologians and cultic practitioners laying claim to knowing and interpreting God’s truth for us ... who’s right? ... Who’s wrong? ... How can we discern for ourselves what is genuine and what is counterfeit?

God reveals Himself through His Word, the Bible: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. The Bible is the Divinely inspired Word of God. Jesus Himself declares:

... "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'" Matt 4:4

and the Apostle Paul in his letter to Timothy states:

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2Tim 3:16-17

If you are someone seeking to satisfy your hunger and thirst for truth, we believe you’ve come to the right place. We’ve adopted the philosophy that if you give a man a fish, he eats for today ... teach him to fish, he eats for a lifetime. We desire to teach you how to feast upon God's Word for the rest of your life.

We use the example of Jesus who first taught His disciples how to fish, ...

“And he said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Matthew 4:19

... and this same Jesus who fed thousands with fish ...

“And he commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass; and he took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes. And they all ate, and were filled: and they took up that which remained over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full. And they that did eat were about five thousand men, besides women and children."  Matthew 14:19-21

We see Jesus feeds the hungry and prepares the hungry to feed themselves. Jesus did both ... so also shall we strive to do likewise.

We at The Lord’s Children place special emphasis on the command of Jesus to go make disciples. Disciples read and study God’s Word under the divine influence and in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit. We’ll help you learn how to study the bible with understanding. As you study the Word, God’s Holy Spirit will impart you with understanding and help you live the God revealed truths contained in Holy Scripture. His Word through the power of the Holy Spirit will begin to change your life one verse at a time and in ways you never dreamt possible. You’ll discover new stability, strength and confidence through God’s life changing truths. You too will be able to say with the prophet Jeremiah:

“Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts.”  Jeremiah 15:16

God has called us to feast on His word. Just as no one can eat and digest your food for you, so no one else can feed on God’s Word for you. You must interact with the Word yourself. Let the Word of God permeate every fiber of your being and saturate your mind with His truth. Your heart, mind and life will be filled with the light of God so you can clearly navigate your life through the darkness, doubt and ignorance of this present evil age. You’ll see truth for yourself and discern the difference between substance and chaff ... relationship from religion ... and love from legalism.

Yes, the bible is truly a unique book in all of human history. It is supernatural and complete in its power to transform your life and why not? ... it is God speaking to you. Anyone who takes the time to read and study the timeless wisdom of Scripture can see and understand what God has gifted to us through His Word and how it applies to our daily lives.

It is my sincere hope that you will come to know your Creator God, His love for you and His desire to have you choose to come into relationship with Himself through Jesus, His Word and His Holy Spirit.
